About the GIET University:
GIET University, Gunupur (formerly known as Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology) was established by “Vidya Bharati Educational Trust,” Gunupur, Odisha, India in the year 1997. ABOUT SCHOOL OF SCIENCES
Equipped with a vision to shape the probing minds of aspiring technocrats and induced upon the mission "Excellence is our Essence" the scientific knowledge coupled with technical skills using innovative and interesting methods of teaching has striven hard to understand the educational goals of the institution. The core of this intellectual venture has been innumerable contribution of a team of dedicated and committed professional. School of sciences offers PG & PhD programs and mould the students in the right direction.
ABOUT BASIC SCIENCE & HUMANITIES
The BSH (Basic Sciences and Humanities) department is actively engaged in teaching and research in the undergraduate of Engineering B. Tech. programs. BSH acts as a bridge, linking pure engineering and science disciplines, and aims to provide a strong foundation for engineering students. It is one of the integral parts of the University and is rapidly expanding in multidisciplinary research. Faculty members of the department have numerous publications in collaboration with other engineering departments. Research in frontier areas has resulted more than 300 research publications in internationally indexed Scopus and SCIE Journals. They have also established collaboration with renowned national and international institutions. BSH plays a crucial role in fostering cohesiveness among the scientific community.
ABOUT ICSMSD-2025
The main aim of this conference is to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, students, academicians, industry persons and policymakers from across the globe to discuss the latest advancements and innovative approaches in the field of Material Science. With a focus on sustainability, the conference highlights the critical role of material science in addressing global challenges such as electronic, polymer, magnetic, optical, dielectric, sensing as well as public health. To meet the needs of the future, scientists/researchers are actively involved in optimizing a wide variety of materials. This present conference serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, forging partnerships, and collaborations to harness material science for resilient and sustainable development. Participants will be equipped with insights and strategies to integrate innovative materials science tools into real-world applications for global benefits.
