ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Gandhi Institute of Engineering & Technology University, Gunupur (formerly known as Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology) was established by “Vidya Bharati Educational Trust,” Gunupur, Odisha, India in the year 1997. Since inception, the Trust promotes Technical Education in India with a motto of providing Quality Education in a highly disciplined and conducive environment with International Standards. GIET University, Gunupur -A tranquil paradise, away from the noise and bustle of an urban area, surrounded by lush greenery and nestled in the beautiful foothills of eastern India. This is one of the most prestigious universities of India. It has come out as the top in eastern India because of many reasons: 26 years pioneering educational establishment and a great temple of learning, which has welcomed intellectual, cultural and social giants from the length and breadth of the country who left indelible footprints on the sands of time making GIET University a proud alma-mater.
There are more than 3,780 students at GIET University, Gunupur with combination of graduates and postgraduates. High discipline: 100% ragging free environment with zero loss of working days and also 300+ top class faculty, attractive campus of 113.03 acres, incomparable infrastructure with 110 laboratories, 4 state-of-art workshop, 20 high end computer labs and 64 modern classrooms and 7 air-conditioned auditoriums and best hostels having 2817 boarders of 12 boys’ hostel and 11 girls’ hostel with generator backup, Wi-Fi internet & 24hrs security system. Currently, university offers admissions to various UG, PG & Doctoral program in of various discipline and specialization like Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering. The Institute faculty members are highly dedicated to carrying out interdisciplinary researches and design-oriented projects in line with the mission and vision of the University.
About Conference
The international conference focuses on fostering innovation and knowledge sharing in engineering and sustainability. The objective of the international conference on "Recent Advances for Sustainable Engineering" is to provide a platform for the presentation and dissemination of innovative research and technological advancements in sustainable engineering across diverse disciplines. The conference aims to foster collaboration among experts, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to address global sustainability challenges through engineering solutions. It will focus on discussing innovative methods, materials, and practices that align with sustainable development goals while minimizing environmental impacts. By facilitating the exchange of ideas, experiences, and best practices among academia, industry, and government organizations, the event seeks to tackle critical global challenges such as climate change, energy efficiency, waste management, water conservation, and green infrastructure. Additionally, the conference will engage policymakers and industry leaders to explore pathways for translating research into real-world applications and policy frameworks. A special emphasis will be placed on encouraging the participation of young researchers and students, providing them with a platform to showcase their work and connect with experienced professionals. Ultimately, the conference aims to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable engineering practices in building a resilient and equitable future.
Objective
The International Conference on Emerging Trends in Biotechnology for a Sustainable Future (ICETBSF-2025) serve as a dynamic platform for researchers, industry professionals and students, to share innovative ideas, cutting-edge technologies and recent research in biotechnology. The conference aims to build interdisciplinary collaborations, promote sustainable technological development and inspire the next generation scientists and technologists. Biotechnology can provide meaningful solutions to global challenges, such as climate change, environmental degradation, food insecurity and public health emergencies. The goal of ICETBSF-2025 is to highlight the important role of biotechnology in addressing these challenges by presenting innovations in agriculture, health care, environment and industry. The conference will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders that will foster the development and use of biotechnological innovations relevant to the Global Sustainable Development Goals to enhance global well-being and economic resilience. The conference will have a variety of activities such as keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster presentations, and panel discussions, allowing attendees to participate in relevant dialogues, engage in collaborations, and stay current in biotechnology. ICETBSF-2025 aims to build an innovative community that focuses on sustainability to lead the rational application of biotechnology for the betterment of society and the environment.
