ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

GIET University, Gunupur formerly known as the Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) was established in the year 1997 at Gunupur, in the state of Odisha, India. GIET was declared as a State University on 27th Dec 2018 by Govt. of Odisha. GIET University is approved by the Govt. of Odisha, UGC and AICTE, New Delhi. Over a period of 25 years, we have grown impressively and today we are a prominent technological University in the eastern part of India. The University has State of the Art Infrastructure and is known for its quality engineering education. At present, we are having fifteen B.Tech Programs, five M.Sc courses, MCA, MBA, MA in English/Economics/Education, Doctoral Research programs (Ph.D) in all the disciplines with PG level programmes. Till date more than 20,000 students have passed out and are successfully placed in India and abroad.
