About the GIET University:
GIET University, Gunupur (formerly known as Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology) was established by “Vidya Bharati Educational Trust,” Gunupur, Odisha, India in the year 1997. Department of Biotechnology: The Department of Biotechnology was established in the year 2003. The vision and mission of the department is pursuance for excellence toachieve sustainable development and to impact training for capacity building to take focused research and product development in frontier areas of Biotechnology. The department is accredited by NBA. It offers Ph.D, M. Tech, M.Sc and B.Tech programs. The department promotes innovation, entrepreneurship, and independent projects, with opportunities to work on funded research..
About BIRAC E-YUVA Center, GIET University: The BIRAC E-YUVA Center at GIET University is a dedicatedbiotechnology pre-incubation hub established with the support of the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Government of India. The center aims to ignite young minds, particularly undergraduate, postgraduate students, and post doctoral student by nurturing innovative, problem-solving ideas in life sciences, agriculture, healthcare, and biotechnology. Equipped with modern laboratories, mentorship support, fellowship, seed funding opportunities, and structured training programs, the E-YUVA Center enables early-stage innovators to transform their concepts into proof-of-concept prototypes.
About Conference: CABHBE-2026, organized by the Department of Biotechnology, GIET University, Gunupur, Odisha, marks the second edition of the International Conference on Advancement of Biotechnology in Healthcare, Bioproducts and Environmental Research. Scheduled for 12–13 December 2026, the conference is envisioned as a multidisciplinary platform bringing together academic scientists, faculty members, research scholars, industry leaders, healthcare professionals, technologists, entrepreneurs, innovators, policymakers, environmental scientists, government representatives, and students from across the biotechnology, healthcare, environmental, and life science sectors. Accomodation:
Limited accommodation will be available on first come-first served basis at very reasonable rates (Rs.600/- to 800/- per day basis). Participants may also opt for hotel accommodation at Gunupur for which they can contact to the organizing secretary (Low budget: Rs. 1000.00 – 1200.00)

Submissions in the form abstracts, short papers and full manuscripts are welcomed.
All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed.
The conference proceedings will be published under an ISBN number.
It is the responsibility of the corresponding author to confirm that the work has not been presented/published earlier.
Abstract should be between 250–300 words, Arial font, 12 pt with single line spacing. Title should be in 14 pt Arial, bold.
Author’s names, affiliation, complete address (including email) are required, Arial font 12 pt.
Underline the name of the presenting author.
Abstract should be sent through email to Convener, Organizing Committee (conferencebiotech@giet.edu).
Only registered participants are permitted to present.
Dimensions of posters should not exceed 4 ft × 3 ft.
