About University
GIET University, Gunupur formerly known as the Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) was established in the year 1997 at Gunupur, in the state of Odisha, India. GIET was declared as a State University on 27th Dec 2018 by Govt. of Odisha. GIET University is approved by the Govt. of Odisha, UGC and AICTE, New Delhi. Over a period of 25 years, we have grown impressively and today we are a prominent technological University in the eastern part of India.
Department of Mathematics:
Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1997 to cater to the needs of the students of various engineering disciplines in UG & PG level. The department is engaged in imparting quality education and focused research. The department has been recognized to conduct Ph.D. program in the year 2019. Faculty members are doing research in various fields of mathematics and have published a good number of research articles in national and international journals. With the team of dedicated faculty, the department strives to equip the students with a strong foundation in basic Mathematical concepts and their applications which will aid them to find jobs and also create interest for pursuing research. The department is dedicated to the betterment of the student community and the advancement of science and technology.
About The Conference:
International Conference on Mathematical Applications in AI & ML, Data Science for Sustainable Development (ICMAS-2023) in Hybrid mode, It provides an arena for academicians, scientist, research scholars, industrialist and students to exchange their novel ideas on the latest advances in Mathematics and its applications in AI & ML, Data Science for Sustainable Development. It will lead to collaborative R & D works and new project proposal with the end result of sharing knowledge among research scholars, industrialist, faculty members and students. Also, it will provide an opportunity for national and international experts and industry leaders to share their experiences and success stories.
ICMAS-2023 connects mathematics as a guiding tool for AI & ML and data science in order to emphasizing the study of mathematical theory and algorithms in these area and its implementation in scientific and engineering disciplines. With the advancement of science, our understanding of the world around us depends on collecting data and using mathematical and statistical tools to extract insights. This century a major revolution has occurred in terms of the quantity and accessibility of data. Today, automated data analysis methods – machine learning and AI for example – offer new tools for scientists to interrogate these complex datasets. Such methods are often collectively referred to in the mainstream media as Artificial Intelligence. The promise of these methods suggests that automated data analysis could revolutionize our approach to science, generating new hypotheses, automating experimental processes, and developing novel theories. Despite this promise, the complexity of modern data sets, and limitations in our theoretical understanding of these data are limiting our rate of progress.
ICMAS-2023 will provide a platform for the researchers about the cause-effect relationships underlying those dynamics, how these relationships influence the system’s response to perturbation and how that understanding should be succinctly summarized to inform human operators using AI & ML and data science. This conference aims to bring together the communities of machine learning, applied mathematics, AI and computational data science and engineering, to exchange ideas and progress in the fast-growing scientific domain.
Call For Papers:
Any interested student, researcher, academician, Industry professionals or policymaker from Indian and foreign institutions can submit their paper.
Paper Submission Guidelines:
Submit your full-length paper on or before 1st August, 2023. Decision on acceptance will be notified to authors by 1st September July, 2023 after the peer-review process. For accepted papers, at least one author must register and present at the conference to be considered for the conference proceedings.
It is authors duty to verify the authenticity of his/her work. If any mischief found in your Manuscript, it would be lead to disqualify from the conference and no refund will be entertained.
Post conference, all presenters will have the option for possible publication with the following journals / edited books associated with the conference.
Manuscripts for ICMAS-2023 will ONLY be accepted in electronic format through Easy Chair online submission system. Do not send hardcopy of your paper. If you are unable to submit your contribution electronically, please contact us at icmas@giet.edu
Contributions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this conference. All figures/Images should clearly visible and the author should clearly mention figures name and numbers in increasing order. Table should be in MS Word. Please do not give scanned equation/formula.
To facilitate the paper’s double-blind peer review process, authors should make efforts to ensure that the information about the authors’ identities do not appear anywhere in the text-body of the paper. (For the first submission).
All fonts must be embedded in the file.
The maximum page limit of the manuscript is 12 pages.
Fonts that require non-English language support are not allowed. The document should not have any password protection. Do not put your own page numbers on the manuscript. Please make sure that plagiarism of the manuscripts should not be greater than 15%. Manuscripts having large plagiarism would not be considered for publication. Manuscript will be cross checked by Ithenticate / Turnitin Software.
